West Highland Sailing’s fleet of motor cruisers can be hired per week, and mid-week or weekend short breaks are available except in July and August. The biggest cruisers can sleep up to ten people.
All our boats are very well equipped. Most have CD and radio, and a DVD player is available on the Magnifique.
The comprehensive safety equipment inventories include buoyancy aids for each crew member, anchor and chain, lifebelt, maps and general cruising information.
As much tuition as is required by the novice sailor is provided. A non-refundable damage waiver of £16 per night is charged. Fuel deposits range from£150 to £220 for the largest cruiser. For 2019 a Canal Fee of £10 per night will also be chargeable.
Hire period starts in the afternoon and finishes in the morning. There are no time constraints for locks if you plan to head West on your first day, as you have the whole length of Loch Lochy, with pontoon berths at Letterfinlay and Gairlochy.
